Dae Ji!

Last night Ken and myself went to a Korean restaurant called Dae Ji near my Japanese School!
I have been to this place quite a few times but they opened a new location and I had to try!

We ordered Cheese Hamburg with Gravy and it came with Rice and Salad to go with it! It's so delicious it melts in your mouth!

We also ordered a new item on their menu which is Deep Fried Bone-less Chicken with Soy Sauce flavour! It was the best chicken I have eaten in a really love time!

I can't wait to go back and eat this chicken again!

Santouka Ramen!

Santouka Ramen is one of my favourite Ramen places in Vancouver, they have a large variety of items to choose from and everything I have gotten there has been delicious!
When we went last week I got their Tantanmen, which is one of my favourite foods of all time! The soup base has peanut sauce and chilli oil so its not too sweet and not too spicy!

It also comes with ground pork which was very sweet at Santouka! We also got Toroniku to go with our food! I definitely recommend any Ramen love to try this place out!

Tea Wok!

I recently tried a new bubble tea/Taiwanese food place in Downtown called Tea Wok. It took over the old Well Tea location in downtown and I was hoping it would be as good as Well Tea but I was honestly disappointed.. I got Chicken Nuggets with Noodle Soup and Rose Milk Tea:

It looks delicious but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be..

Congee Noodle King!

The other night my boyfriend and myself went to a restaurant called Congee Noodle King! I love this place, they have really good congee and wonton soup! I got dry noodle with oyster sauce with soup and iced lemon tea! I love iced lemon tea and it was pretty good here!

Girls Night Out!

At Milestones on Mondays they have something called Girls Night Out! You get four appetizers and four Bellinis for just 40$! It such a good deal!
We went last week and this week haha!
This is my favourite appetizer that they have, its Spinach Artichoke dip with chips!
It's so delicious, I could happily eat this every day.

We also got two orders of Yam Fries and Shrimp with sweet chilli sauce, very delicious!

School and Dinner!

On Tuesdays I have my Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 Class at night but before I went to school  I went to Cactus Clubs with two good friends from work!
I decided to get myself a drink...

 OR two haha!
I love Belinis and they are on special on Tuesdays so it was even better!

Before school I also got myself some snacks! XO sauce flavoured Shrimp Chips and Lychee flavoured Hi-Chew! I love Hi-Chew, especially Mango and Lychee flavours<3

Last night I had dinner at Crystal Mall for the first time in awhile!
I was with my friend Ken again and we went to a place called Libo!

I got one of my favourite dishes from there, the Black Pepper Chicken Combo! It's so delicious and such a good deal for how much food you get. It comes with instant noodles in soup with wiener and fried egg, black pepper chicken and a ham sandwich for under $7.00!

My friend Ken got the back pork chop of rice with tomato sauce and vegetables, it's also really delicious!

It's almost Friday and I can't wait to be off for two days! Enjoy your weekends everyone<3

Dinner at my favourite restaurant!

Tonight one of my best friends and I went to dinner at a Japanese Izakaya called Guu Garden, its been my favourite restaurant for many, many years!

Here are some photos of what we ate and drank tonight~

The first drink I had tonight was a Strawberry Season!
It has raspberry Liqueur, Peach Liqueur, strawberry puree and soda in it! It was really yummy, not too sweet at all!

We ordered lots of different dishes to share, the first one was Tuna Tataki! For those of you who don't know what that is, it's raw tuna sashimi that has been seared on the edges! It came with green onions, garlic chips and onions as garnish and a sweet sauce for dipping! So delicious!!

Next up are two are my all time favourite foods; Miso Oden and Takowasabi<3
Miso Oden has a thick red miso sauce for the base and we ordered Dashimaki which is a sweet egg, Gyusuji which is Beef Gristle and Hanpen which is fluffy fish cake! I could eat Miso Oden everyday! Takowasabi is raw octopus in a wasabi sauce with Uni (sea urchin) and seaweed on the side!

We also ordered Tontoro, also known as pork cheek, Miso Calamari and Ebi Mayo which is deep fried prawns with mayonnaise for sauce! They all tasted amazing!

Tonight on their special menu they had something we never tried before; Curry Doria! It's curry on rice with beef and carrots, baked with lots and lots of cheese<3 Delicious~

The next drink we both ordered was a Matcha-Lua Milk! It had Kahlua, Milk and Matcha in it! I always get this drink when I go to Guu Garden!

For dessert we both ordered their famous Sake and Sea Salt ice cream! The taste is so rich and the slight saltiness goes so perfect with the vanilla!

I definitely recommend everyone to try out this restaurant if you haven't already! The staff are great, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is really awesome too! If you're looking for authentic Japanese Izakaya food I would try this place out for sure!

Fall outfit!

Fall in Vancouver gets very cold, very fast but that doesn't mean you have to be all wrapped up in blankets!
Today I am wearing some new pieces I recently bought!

Sweater: Urban Planet
Skirt: Urban Planet
Shoes: Spring
Jacket: Forever21
Tights: H&M

Today I am trying to take inspiration from Emoda! Some of my favourite items right now are circle skirts and cropped sweaters! I'm also really into any sort of ankle strap on heels recently. I'm with my friend Ken today, we went for dinner at Guu Garden and he took the photos for me! Thanks Ken<3

I hope you guys are enjoying the wonderful, no-rain weather recently!
